WELCOME TO HONG KONG
(The Pearl of the Orient )
The city of life, where east meets west in a kaleidoscope of colour and culture. The hustle and bustle of the metropolis and the vibrancy of local life has to be experienced to be believed. Renowned for its modern architecture, dynamic blend of cultures, and cutting-edge fashion, there's no place quite like Hong Kong.
Geography:-
Hong Kong is one of the world's more geographically interesting cities. The combined area of Hong Kong is 2,916 square kilometers, of which only 1,004 square kilometers are land. The rest is water. The main island of Hong Kong is hilly. The territory's is divided into four main areas - Hong Kong Island, Kowloon ,the New Territories and Outlying Islands. Victoria Harbor is Hong Kong's cents of gravity, with most of the urban areas lining the northern or southern shores. Originally about one mile wide, the harbor is heir squeezed by reclamation on both sides. Hong Kong, today, has no forests and very little in the way of natural fauna and flora.
Climate :-
Located by the ocean, Hong Kong's climate is a sub-tropical. Both spring and autumn are sunny and comfortable, with the temperature is averaging at about 23 degrees. Summer with an average temperature of 28C is sweltering and humid. Winter is dry and cool, with an average temperature of 17C. So in the summer and winter, Hong Kong is respectively neither, too hot or too cold. This makes Hong Kong a year round travel destination. Of course, ideally speaking, spring and autumn are the best time for a visit.
